2. Before laying a layer of asphalt shingles, the initial layer must be laid (the cornice drip plate should be set at the cornice). The initial layer is cut by removing the skirt of the asphalt shingle, and the initial layer is at the bottom of the roof slope. Lay it directly, with the adhesive side facing up and towards the cornice. The surface in contact with the roof is smeared with asphalt glue and fixed on the roof with roof nails.
3. At the inner corners formed by roof gables, parapet walls and chimneys protruding from the roof, before paving asphalt shingles and linoleum tiles, waterproof membranes should be laid on both sides of the inner corners, with a width of not less than 250mm on each side. The end of the gable flooded asphalt linoleum tile is fixed with metal bead, and the upper part of the bead is sealed with sealing material.
4. Gutter waterproofing should first pave a layer of modified bitumen waterproofing membrane with a width of 800mm or more at the gutter, and then pave bituminous felt shingles on this basis.
5. For the connection between the roof and the vertical wall, step flooding can also be used. At the junction of the two sides, a metal waterproof with a side length of 200mm×200mm bent into a right angle is installed first, and 100mm is overlapped on the initial layer of the roof colored asphalt linoleum tile. Fix, pave another 100mm on the wall, and then spread a house with colored asphalt linoleum tiles to cover all the roof, and then pave the second layer of metal flooding and the second house with colored asphalt linoleum tiles, and so on. On the vertical wall, the side with a length of 200mm and a width of 500mm is extended into the wall and sealed with asphalt glue or cement mortar.
6. For sloping roofs with dormer windows, the right joint of dormer window roof and main roof is laid by unilateral lap gutter method; the junction of the wall around the dormer window and the main roof can use the aforementioned step flooding and metal flooding. Laying with water or parapet flooding method.
7. For sewage pipes and ventilation pipes protruding from the roof, the leveling layer around the pipes should be made into a truncated cone, a groove should be left between the pipes and the leveling layer, and sealing materials should be embedded, additional layers should be added around the pipes, and synthetic polymers should be used. The material is made into a flashing ring, which is wrapped on the outer wall of the pipe to be glued, the upper opening of the flashing ring is tightened with a metal band, and the pipe and the flashing ring are sealed with a sealing material.
8. Cut the ridge tile. The ridge tile can also be cut by three-pronged colored asphalt linoleum tile. The ridge tile should be overlapped along the maximum frequency wind direction, and should fully cover the two slope asphalt linoleum tiles. The connecting width should not be less than 100mm.
